    Thank you, Everyone!

I sold my ST last week and picked up an '08 Frontier CC. Just had to say thanks to all those who helped me and gave me suggestions during the time I had my ST. This site is truly unique where folks are really willing to help out and not say "do a search".

    Dripping from Cargo Tie-Downs

I just let it drip, then finish up with quick detailer the next day.

    rubber/plastic exterior trim faded

I've used Mother's Back to Black and was disappointed as the results were temporary. I've gotten the best results from Showroom New Restorer. It actually dyes the trim black permanently (been perfect so far - almost 2 years without having to reapply).

    Who has a Wii?

I have one. I think it's the better choice for those with young kids. It's a really family event when my wife and I play at the same time with the kids. I need a bigger family room... :)

    Ipod Movies

I've used PSP9. Works great for both my ipod and PSP (same file used for either device).

    ~ Porter Cable Buffer Detailing

I've gotten all my stuff from ADS. You can get a lot of tips from the Meguiar's forum site. Personally, I got the G100 because of the lifetime warranty offered. The PC 7424's warranty is for a year, I think. ADS always has G100 polisher promos. BTW, I don't work for ADS, but have ordered...

    ~ Porter Cable Buffer Detailing

I have one. Mine is re-branded to Meguiar's G100. Very durable unit and has been used by many folks. If you use the right combo of pads, polish, and technique, it's really hard to get bad results from a 7424 since it's a random orbital. Personally, I use mine with all Meguiar's products and...

    paint color change

As XST mentioned, the cost would probably be pretty high if done right. You'd be painting the door jams and engine bay too, right?

Dirty front wheels - brake dust?

I agree with the folks that mentioned using aftermarket pads. Once I switched from OEM to aftermarket, I have a MUCH easier time cleaning the wheels.

Detailing with Porter Cable and Mothers products

From my understanding, the LC orange pads are a bit too aggressive for a PC orbital. I've used an PC with the LC CSS white pads with very good results.

Back from China. What happened to gas prices??

$3.73 here. We get poorer quality gas + higher prices.

    Paint Code Help

Help! Does anyone know the paint code for my '01 ST (Island Blue)? In the driver's door jam, I can see "EXT PNT: R1". Does that mean my paint code is "R1"? Thanks!

    Touching up exterior paint

I had thought about this because of the paint primer problem I have, but never purchased it thinking it might only be temporary...

    Word of advise about keys

Very good advise! Since you're buying @ retail from the dealer, you're almost always paying more than a private sale. I've gotten taken at trade-in time too, and the dealer should have some motivation to give you a second key (they can do this cheaper than you can if you ask later).

    Paint Problem

My hood looks exactly like the pics from Jeff C. Looks like lots of small cracks.

    New eBay Fees (Caymen)

IMHO, eBay has not been the best place to shop now for a little while. Certain stuff, like books, are much cheaper at Amazon through vendors because of standardized shipping costs and stuff.
