I am attempting to adjust my idle speed according to one of the projects that I found. In the project, it says to disconnect the wire from the ISC Idle Air Bypass Solenoid and then start the truck without using the accelerator. My truck won't start at all. What does this mean?

The O/D light comes on when I shift into reverse sometimes. It also was blinking on one occassion. Is this normal or am I going to have trouble with my transmission?

Well, I replaced the DPFE Sensor and it did not seem to stop the rough idle. When I held down the accelerator, the engine seemed to really labor and almost stall on ocassion.When idling, there is a noticable miss. It sounds as if it is comming from the front left side of the engine. Any Ideas...

Thanks for the help. Sorry it took so long to reply, I have been on vacation. I did get the code for my 01' Sport Trac and the code is 0401. It read insufficient air flow in the EGR Valve. Is this hard to replace if I decided to do it myself? Thanks for all of your help.:D
