    rear axle leak

    I had my rear axle fluid changed and its leaking already,the mechanic told me he used some silicone to seal it initially...is that right .What should i do to make sure they dont mess up again.Does it need a gasket..i have an 02 trac..Thanks.

    rear axle

    I had my rear axle seals replaced on my trac.My mechanic put in synthetic oil.I have a 4+4 standard axle.My manual states standard axles get 80w-90 motorcraft premium.axles with trak-lok get synthetic.Should i have him put in the right oil.......P.S. I dont think i have trac-lok..Thanks
