Loose Gear Shift
Yes I've checked the bolts which are tight but that is not the problem. There is more play (movement) in the shifter at the column than I think it should be like. Seems like the pin that connects the shift lever to the column could be larger so it will be tighter. I can't find any adjustments...- Clay Mitchell

I have an '02 ST. The gear shift lever is fairly loose. I've loosened the shroud around the steering column and see the lever is held in place with a pin. This is the part that is very loose. The gear indicator works well and the bolts on the back side of the dash are tight. Any suggestions on...- Clay Mitchell
