Try lightly tapping on the motor housing with a hammer for temporary relief. Sometimes that helps for time until you can replace motor.

I may have missed it, but I would suggest a trip to Auto Zone or O'Reilly's have the do a Code Reader check that might keep from chasing rabbits.
