'01 Escape problem, Idle

On my wifes '01 3.0L escape, the IAC works as should with AC on, 650rpm..The rpms fall below 500 when you take your foot off the throttle with AC off, when cruising. I have cleaned and serviced the IAC and throttle body but it only seems to keep the Idle up, with the AC on..Sitting still, even in gear the rpms stay at 650, AC off or on. When you cruise, let off throttle they drop to 400rpm.. Any Ideas as to why??

Vacuum leak somewhere? IAC still not working properly?



Take it to Ford and have them scan it and check it out!
