01 ST tranny

Hello guys, got a question on my ST, here it goes. Last week we got snow on the SouthWest around foot (more less, I know its nothing for some of you but for TX that is a lot). Ever since then I started having problems with the the ST O/D off light (now its blinking ). What can it be, I have done some research but have learned not to take it to the dealer ( most would want to install a new tranny I don't think my ST need a new tranny). Please help thanks

Take it to a reputable tranny shop and go from there.



How many miles are on it?

I got 115217 miles on it (mostly HWY miles) we travel to Vegas like twice a year. I was planning to change the tranny oil and filter but was wondering if it was only a faulty sensor (how many sensor does this tranny have?). By the way, I made the tran. oil change back at 60K and I was hoping to do again at 120k.
