I have a 2002 Sportrac that has the Pioneer package (upgraded rims, subwoofer under rear driver side seat, rear window trim with PIONEER on it, and the head unit is a single CD Pioneer unit).

I am trying to find out how to connect an iPod to it.

Does anyone know the specific Pioneer model number that I can research? OR

Has anyone connected an iPod to this head unit?

My research finds connectors for the standard 2002 head units and say "not for Pioneer."

Please email me at [email protected]

Thank you.

i work for peripheral electronics and know that our iPod2Car does not work with the pioneer system. we are trying to get one in house to do some testing on.

This may help, you can always go to a car stereo dealer in your area and have them take a look, make suggestions, etc.

no need. the factory Pioneer units do not come with an IP Bus connector on the back. The CD-IB100II will not work on that head unit. It has ford software in it.
