03' adrenaline amp blow'd up

I fried my factory amp in my 03 ST. I pulled the fuses both were blown, went to replace them when i tried to put the new fuse in..KABOOM!! sounded like a gun going off. Can I simply replace the amp with any aftermarket amp ? Any information will help..I'm way ignorant to Car Audio

If it were me I would drive it over to a place that installs stereos and see if they can find out what is going on. Sure sounds like something isn't right, especially since you found two blown fuses and blew the new ones.



They may or may not charge you for that.
