07 4.6 SMOKES AT STARTUP

HAS ANY ONE ELSE HAD ANY PROBLEMS AS FAR AS SMOKING WHEN YOU START UP YOUR TRAC AFTER IT HAS SAT FOR A WHILE?? MINE IS A 07 JOB#1 WITH THE 4.6 V8, IT ONLY HAS ABOUT 3600 MILES ON IT BUT LATELY IN THE MORNING WHEN I START IT UP IT WILL PUFF OUT A SMALL BLUE CLOUD JUST FOR A SECOND - AT STARUP, OTHER WISE IT RUNS AND IDELS GREAT,AND i GET GOOD GAS MILAGE WITH IT - I DON'T DRIVE IT A WHOLE LOT USUALLY JUST ON THE WEEKENDS. THANKS

Do you tend to race the engine by pushing on the gas when you start it???



Are you sure it is blue and not just white ???



This is the first here if it is oil.... That would indicate bad valve guides or something worse..

NO I DIDN'T REV IT UP OR ANYTHING, JUST NORMAL STARTING. IT IS A BLUEISH WHITE SMOKE. WANTS IT RUNS FOR A SEC ITS FINE.

Mine did that once after sitting for 3 days. Smelled really rich, but it was only for a couple of seconds at startup...

Keep notes, daily, of what you notice. Take it with you to the dealer. There should be no reason for this. Also note any engine noise. Maybe you'll get your second engine at 850miles like I did.
