I got a price from a dealer in Boston today on a V8 limited 4x4 with the NAV and pretty much everything else for $37259. Is this a good price? I know jeff paid 32k for is V6 limited without

the NAV, but i think has everything else

It does not appear to be a great deal. Totally maxed out the sticker price comes to $35,532. Take of the $1000 rebate and it looks like he's being shafted.

He/you can go on the Ford, or other web sites and configure and price the vehicle, to see the Sticker & Invoice pricing.

A buyer should always arm themselves with this information BEFORE letting Dealer sales people begin their manipulations.

Don't forget he's included the Nav system. That's not on the website and I think it is ~$2,500 on the Explorer. Still an awful lot of coin.

If you get X-plan, prices are set, no haggling (unless u got a trade-price to negotiate).

I bought a 2007 two weeks ago with everything (but navigation) w/ X plan pricing and 1000.00 rebate...was 33,772.00 Out The Door including tags and taxes.

All incentives - ALL - apply to X-plan pricing. Now, they apply *at time of deliver* (NOT time of order!).

Kapish?

Thanks R for the better info. And now I Capisce.

Capisce is an Italian word that initially became popular in English in the 1940s, popularized by Italian immigrants in America's eastern cities and by use in onscreen portrayals of Italian-Americans, often in organized crime roles.

It means "Get it?" and comes from the Italian capisci? ("do you understand?"), deriving from the verb capire, to understand.

I can't believe any Sport Trac is worth 38K. But then I have no experience with 07's. Maybe the new ones are built like a Lexus. They would have to be for me to spend that kind of money.
