07 Nav unit... All in one?????

the 2007 St Navigation unit......... is it all in one or does it have a stand alone nav drive?

I'm not sure that I totally understand your question. Are you asking if it has 2 drives (1 for the navigation DVD Rom and another for CD's); or a single combined drive?

it the dvd ROM for the navigation in the actual head unit or is it mounted somewhere else in the vehicle.

on the new Fords it is in the head unit....

The one in my wife Expedition is loaded in the head unit itself. It also plays audio CD's. But in this 03 model we have the 6 CD changer remote.



My new Kenwood system uses RAM style memory, they did away with the DVD system altogether.

Kenwood uses Garmin! Awesome!



I am a HUGE fan of Garmin's GUI. Can you use Audible eBooks with that? If so, I may be upgrading.
