I can't find the post now, but someone had pics of their 07 on here with seat covers installed on the seats.

The 07's have side airbags that inflate from the side of the seats.............were these special seat covers or has that person made a MAJOR mistake by covering up his/her seats?

You need special covers for SRS seats... IF you install a regular cover, you will render the Air bag useless and will make it more dangerous...

GuruGuy, you might have been talking about my Wet Okole seat covers. Yes, they are made for the airbags, having splits down both outside edges of the front seats to allow for the airbag deployment. These folks realize when they make covers for you that that is a high priority, and I made sure of it when I ordered. Refer to my library for those pics you are talking about. I don't think you can really see the split in the seats (a good thing), but they are there. It is a good point to bring up, though, in case someone might not realize the importance of such a small thing,,,,,,,,,,,,,later, Mark;)

You're right.......it was you.

For some reason today I was thinking about the side airbags and how I had seen a pic posted with seat covers.................didn't want a major catastrophe to happen. Makes you wonder about those that Walmart and others sell.............do they have some sort of disclaimer on the packaging telling folks that they don't work with side seat mounted airbags?

Something to think about!

I have an 07 with the tan interior I just priced out Wet Okole Seat covers for front and back, with map pockets, 2 colors and a logo. the price is about 600 dollars delivered. I have the tan interior which imo looks great but picks up dirt like a magnet. my driver's seat is becomming a bit blue from my jeans, so I need to break down and buy them soon.

Axel is about right on the price. Mine were $596 for front and back. The fronts have the ST logo on the back with pockets behind both seats. The rears are just plain black with my choice of the color for the inside panels. Ask for swatches from Wet Okole first to match your interior. I am glad I did this first, because the colors aren't very specific on their site. I am very satisfied with the covers, but they are a bear to put on at first, with all of the stretching, pulling and such. But they fit very well, and don't move at all once in place. It was a pain to get the straps under the driver's seat, with all of the electronics for the seat, belts, etc. I came away with a few cuts and bruises on my hands. A good set of mechanic's gloves are in order, for sure. Hope this helps,,,,,,,,I would recommend them to all.

Hey Cubber I have a question about the covers. what is the backside material like, neoprene? I am trying to figure out if they are going to leave black marks on the seats if I end up taking them off after a few years.

I cannot find your original thread on them but is it correct you emailed them the sport trac logo first and they put it on?

cheers
