07 Sport Trac incentives not quite as good

While the rebates remain the same, the finance incentives are not quite as good. They have raised the finance rates by 1%:



2.9% APR financing for 36 months

3.9% APR financing for 48 months

4.9% APR financing for 60 months

6.9% APR financing for 72 months

So it looks like the '07 Trac is selling good enough to not have to use extra incentives to sell them. It is bad for the consumer, but good for Ford.

Ford here is giving $500.00 plus 1,000 in ford loyalty if a returning customer..

Actually I think that it has more to do with the Feds raising interest rates. Notice that the rebates are still the same. I was on the Ford LAP website last night and the numbers are not good for June. Sales are down 6.8% for June and Sport Trac specif sales are below expectations as well although they did not give specific percentages. Fords cars are performing better than the trucks and SUVs.

With oil topping $75 per barrel and climbing, it's gonna be a long haul before truck sales recover.
