All Over the East Coast,
Are the 07s pre-wired for Premium sound? If I was to swap, would I need a new harness to run to the doors, head unit, and rear sub? Or just a harness to the sub?

The wheels are in motion.

I'm not sure as mine came with all the stuff, but why are you posting pics of my truck from last year? :D

Not me at all. Dad. Located it with 8,900 miles, a hair over $21,000. Local (to my folks) dealer, too, so service at a foreign dealer will not be an issue (like the hell I caught from a dealer when I took mine in for service but did not purchase it from them). Everything but a moonroof and the premium sound. I only want the sub so I can put in a Kenwood nav unit for him. He's going tomorrow for a visual inspection of the body, copies of the VIN and service reports, test drive, etc. If it checks out, we'll probably pick it up after I take my exams.

Mine is still a few paychecks and school loan payments away. :)

Tom--I hope all's been well. It's hard to believe that ... shoot, was it a year ago that I stopped in? I believe so. Time bloody flies.

Gary--

No! :) It's going to be Dad's. He test-drove it today and did the once-over. It looks clear, but we're not moving on it until I get up there late next week. We're fairly certain no one will buy it before then; the local dealers are getting killed. The 07 Limited Explorer that was on the lot about four months ago still is there, even at a very attractive price.

ok, cool . he deserves it

how much did you influence him :p

true, not a good time for the suv/pick up.

you should negotiate like there is no tomorrow.

With trade-in, which likely will be my brother's 98 Subaru Legacy, and warranty and tax, I don't want to see a cent above $20,000. The strong card that the dealer has, though, is that it's about $6,000 below suggested retail for the year/model. My only concern is that I pulled a VIN report, and the first owner must have paid via a loan. It notes there is/was a lien on it. The sales manager did not mention anything about it, so I can only assume it was extinguished at auction (the guy bought it, had it for seven months, and then the report shows an auction, so I assume the payments got the better of him).
