'08 EPA milage report

The EPA just anounced that, milage report on the stickers of '08 model vehicles, will drop 8% highway and 12% city...Probably will be more realistic..

Is this specificly in regard to the Sport Trac or the overall Ford line of vehicles?

The EPA finally re-did the testing method to reflect real world driving conditions.



The old tests were not wrong, they were just outdated.

Using the EPA figures (8% & 12% drop) that's about what I

average. Isn't that just amazing?!

Real world driving shows real world numbers. Ironic that it took the government that long to actually update those numbers.

Actually I don't find it ironic at all, the government wants us to think that our vehicles are more fuel efficient than they relly are. Something must have happened that forced them to update their information. Isn't that usually how it happens....
