08 STA shifting issue UPDATE

Throwing my two cents in here, since I did the 'fix', my tranny is working perfectly and I only put about 50 miles a week if that since I rarely ever get out of the city. I haven't drivin on a freeway in about a month now.



So far, I haven't seen any of my prior issues return with mine.

Anyone who is having problems with their gen II V8 automatic should read this message forum on BlueOvalNews.com. Pay particular attention to the posts by member Mike Up. His research on this subject sounds spot on to me.

I read every page form teh above link.... Sounds like FORD has done well with the NEW TSB. I may have to go in and get them to reflash the PCM & the KAM now.

It's funny this thread got bumped because I had shifting issues last night and my check engine light came on again today. It's in the shop getting looked out now.
