After 32 months of having my ST and at 42,000 miles, finally installed my EE rear sway bar and all 4 shocks with KYBs. A long trip is ahead which will start early Thursday morning, from San Diego to Surrey, BC and back to SD on the 20th. I am hoping I won't have any issues during the trip. Will try to stop by at the WE store/shop in Seattle if there's time to do so. (a warning to Rob,:D) So far, you all know the results of the sway bar/shocks replacement and I've got the same results. Hoping to see members along the way, if you see a white '05 Adrenalin with CA plates on I-5, that's me.

If you could slow down on I-5? There's a stretch around Anaheim where the freeway shrinks to three lanes so there's almost always a bottleneck just before it and then congestion therein. But it's not gridlock or anything outside of rush hour. Farther up, it gets congested again as the freeway splits with the 101 and the 60 and 710 freeways come in. Here I-5 shrinks to two lanes but only for a short distance before busting open again. Next congestion area after that is Burbank but a minor and short one. If I catch you in this area, I'll be sure to wave. Safe travels! BC is beautiful from what I can remember.

Oh, will your Adrenalin be rolling on 20's???

A few miles up the road from Anderson is Redding where you'll find a better selection of good thing to eat, etc.

BTW, Redding is about 2-1/2 hrs. from Sacramento. Also, you won't hit any real traffic until you hit Portland, OR. Oregon is pretty cool in that it is the law that you cannot pump your own gas. :D

511, will leave early and will avoid LA altogether by taking 15/60/57/210 on the way up. Am familiar with the conditions around the areas you mentioned that's why I'll go around. Will probably try to get back late and do 405 southbound heading home since after the rush, diamond lane is all the way to Capistrano. Held off in getting the 20s, if not, I'll end up pushing the ST due to lack of funds for fuel:D.

Hope you have a safe and fun trip.....

Don't forget to pack some extra "Red Bull's" :)

I too would avoid that mess in So Cal on I-5

Have spent many a day in the Portland & SeaTac areas working over the years....loved the areas, but hated all the rain.

Anyway, hope you get to enjoy your trip and don't have any issues with your ST
