Picking up a one owner 2003 ST. I'll need advice on a 3 inch lift, and tires. This is my first truck.

Welcome to the site. What sort of off-roading are you planning or is this going to be a street cruiser? Both matter in the type of lift you choose.

Thank you for responding. I just do light beach driving, occasionally navigating some rocky terrain. Since there is only rear wheel drive no offroad.

I did a 3" lift on my 2010 STA. You will definitely want to look into getting a set of upper control arms from BTF fabrications, that Todd recommended to me. They are pricey, but BTF is the only company out there custom fabricating these for the ST's and are very well-built.

Can you offer some insight on spacers (3in) and torsion for the front. I'm in Honolulu so there is a lot of overcharging here. Do you deal exclusively with BTF?

I got my lift kit from Supreme Suspensions, and found out the hard way when they were installed at a shop locally and that's when Todd suggested that I needed to get the UCA's from BTF. I called the number on the BTF website and spoke to a guy that let me know that they had some UCA's in current inventory and to just place my order, and I received them in about 7-9 days. Definitely give them a call though.
