20" Explorer Limited wheels

I know that the 20" Adrenalin wheels will fit on my 09 Limited ST without any modifications. . I also saw those same wheels on a 2011 Explorer Limited. But the wheels that I really like to put on my ST are on both the 2011 an 2012 Explorer Limited. The 2011(called hyper silver) and 2012 (called painted aluminum) look identical and are the same demensions as the Adrenalin wheels -- 20/8.5. Does this mean they fit my ST without any mods/spacers etc?

A few months ago I looked into this. My research found that GenII center bore is larger than the latest gen Explorer. So the wheel wont fit. Major disapointment. Everything else matches fine though.



Our ST's have a 70.1 center bore.

The latest Explorer has a 63 center bore. It's based off the Taurus chassis.
