Replacement lid; been there!
Just as you, the best I found was about 120$. All I wanted is to recover it, not replacing the whole thing.
So I went to a local fabric store and picked what was the closest (and I'll tell you what, if I don't tell you that I replaced it, you wouldn't know). 10 minutes in the store and 1.42$ of material, I was on my way to a local upholstery shop who cut it and tacked it for 10$. I have some pretty good tools at home, but I dont have anything to tack through thick plastic.
All you have to do ahead of time, is unscrew the lid from the console, remove the black plastic backplate, remove the old cover and then remove the remaining tack with a pair of plyers.
Concerning your window, I don't know that circuit on top of my head, but if you don't get an answer sometimes today, I'll look at my wiring book tonight. Something you might want to buy; the service manual and the wiring diagrams book. They are not cheap. I found mine used on eBay and spent about 120 for all 3 books (2 service manual and 1 for diagram).
