I had this chip in my 2003 Sport Trac. I sold the truck and removed all the goodies on it, it was working fine when removed and it is being sold as is. Below is the description from the website and links to the product

Performance tuning is more difficult on Ford vehicles since the factory computer does not have a chip that can be easily replaced.
