As I was slowing down to stop for a traffic light this morning, I heard a loud and horrible rattling sound from my engine (2009 Adrenalin, 4.6L V8 with 430,000 kms). Before the light turned green, the rattling stopped and it was back to normal sound, power, etc. I’ve since driven 200 kms and all seems normal. I’ve owned this truck since new and have taken meticulous care of it. Just 2,000 kms ago, I replaced the water pump and all idler pulleys, serpentine belt, etc. I’m quite sure this has nothing to do with the noise this morning. Any ideas?
