I just got the new Car and Driver. It goes through every automaker (from Morgan to Ferrari) about the 2006 vehicles, what's being discontinued or killed off, and what's in the future. For the Ford section, it mentioned the new Explorer and Fusion as the main new vehicles out, but it also said that the Thunderbird, Excursion, and Explorer Sport Trac were dead. Therefore, I'd have to go along with the others that have said that there will be no 2006 model. It did mention the SVT version of the Sport Trac to come out sometime in 2007.
