Hi there I was wondering if anyone has removed the factory radio on a 2007 sport trac yet. I have looked at mine and I dont see where you would put a tool in to pop the radio out.

I was also wondering if the speakers for a Fusion would work in the sport trac. Also if any one has the upgraded speaker s that come with the 6 disc system and would like to see them let me know. I would be willin to buy them as long as they would work with the standard factory the single disc radio.

Thanks in Advance!:D

I have removed the single cd double din factory stereo from my 07 trac. you don't need the removal tool, as there are four bolts (7mm I think) that hold it in, i took off those four bolts, and pulled it right out. disconnect the plugs in the back and you are good to go. Fusion speakers (doors only) should be the same size, as ford puts all the same speakers in all cars (except those with mach or pioneer systems). your best bet, if you are looking for a decent set of speakers that are not expensive, would be to go to walmart and buy the pioneer 6x8(5x7) speakers that are made specifically for Ford/Lincoln/Mercury, it says that right on the box, i have those exact speakers, had them in my ranger last year, took them out when I bought the trac and put them in the trac, fit and work great.
