Hi guys,
I've asked this question in a few different places but am getting nowhere fast. I also did searches but similarly came up empty handed, so I'm hoping you can bare with me and offer some advice...
I am putting a set of RoadBully lift spacers, 2.5" front and rear, on my '09 XLT 2WD this weekend. I am using 16x8" wheels, and am buying larger tires while everything is apart to do the lift, so I need to find out how tall and wide I can go with the tires without rubbing at lock, or worse yet, having to cut the fenders or massaging the wells.
Now, I've heard of 275/70-17s (a 32.2" tire) clearing with a Truxxx lift kit, although I've never gotten a response as to if there was any rubbing or not... I would really like to go with a 33" tire (like a 32.8" 285/75-16), but obviously I will go down to a safer 32" (such as the 31.6" 265/75-16) if need be.
I'd really appreciate some help as quickly as possible! I hope I'm not coming off as rude, but I'm hoping to buy the tires and have the truck done this weekend, as it is currently my daily driver.
Thank you so much in advance,
Josh
