2009 ST

Haven't looked at the ST in some time.. what are your takes, plus and minus for an 09 limited, v6? How is the real fuel economy, reliable, any issues? Anyone who has recently purchased? Can you give any figures on what dealers or Ford will sell an msrp 31-32k ST?

Get the 4.6L V8! It pretty much gets the same mileage! (Depending on how heavy your foot is!) The v6 is 16/21mpg and the v8 is 16/20mpg



You'll appreciate the more power when you need it! I love mine - check mine out sometime!

I average about 21.4mpg on highways sometimes better if I feather it more...

Plus I know that teh 2009 has a thicker rear sway bar than an 08 model!

Truthfully I'd wait till the 2010 comes out! If it does they may have some extras on that!?

Like Bud says request a brochure and they'll send you a 750 coupon. There's also an additional 2500 or financing available right now. I got the '08 LTD V8 and with a 1000 miles took a trip and averaged 21.7 mpg. Good luck, you'll love it. Oh yeah if you can get the Synch option. Tim

I test drove an 09 V8 a couple of weeks ago. White/loaded But pricey, IMO.

A very sweet drive.

I would even CONSIDER buying a 6 cylinder.

I drove one of those too. No guts. JMO
