Thanks for the positive feedback Reaper!

A couple of things I have learned about shooting video over the years is that after the shoot either you or someone else remembers a shot you missed or would have been better, and that no matter how much video you shoot, you only have room for so much in a production to keep someone's interest or fit on a DVD!

It was good to meet you in person and have a chance to talk with you a bit!

It was great meeting you as well. Alicia and myself fell in love with your sport trac too! haha

hopefully ill get to talk to you soon at a future meet!

Greg,

Just finished watching the video from beginning to end. Great job! It really brought back fond memories of a great event and a great group of people. Anyone who couldn't attend, I would highly recommend this video. It's the next best thing to being there. An added bonus was the Sport Trac information card that was tucked in the DVD case.

Greg, thanks again for the video and the time you took to cover the whole event, as well as the follow-up work.

:supercool:

As someone who didn't go to the meet - just one comment:

It would have been cool if during the showing of the trucks and while interviewing the folks at the restaurant, the people said their on-line names. I believe Reaper was one of the only ones that did.

Just a thought.

Truly, the video was AWESOME!!!! I especially liked the factory piece - was that Rachel's ST being built?

Lastly, the blacked out ending was a surprise. Was anyone hurt? :cheeky:

GREAT JOB MAN!!!!

Thank you Joe & Jimmy!

We enjoyed recording the event.

Jimmy, having their "handles" would have been a great addition - I just didn't think of that at the time. I don't think we will ever know if that was Rachel's truck, but for as long as it took to get to New York it certainly could have been.

Todd what does the build date show?

The ending was actually a recording of my K&N air intake - I put a small recorder under the hood and the ending is simply me backing off of the throttle! I was over 95 MPH at that time and didn't think one more gear change was worth it! So no, no one was hurt!

I am glad so many members are enjoying it! We hope to meet all of you in the future at another meet!

I REALLY MISSED BEING THERE.. IT makes me miss my Sport Trac Very much..

Great job.

Hope to see everyone soon..

I want to thank all of the "MySportTrac.com" members that have ordered a DVD!

My hope in producing this video was to provide a glimpse of the actual event in Louisville and the sentiments of Todd Zabbia and the members of this site who made it to the event.

Sharon and I had a great time doing this video and we appreciate all the positive comments and suggestions from everyone who has watched it.

I want to once more thank Todd, Rachel, and the members who donated time, money and effort to make this n event worth attending!

I look forward to once more reuniting with the members we met in Louisville and those members who could not make it to Kentucky at a future event.

The video will still be available in the future.

Thanks again to all of you who visit this fine site!

Hello :)

I just watched the 15 minute 'preview' of this at Youtube and really enjoyed it!

I am always fascinated by car production footage of ANY car, but seeing where my truck was 'born' is really special.

As a side note, the irony in that this video was shot on the SAME day I bought my truck! How weird is that? Of course, my truck was built 12/09, I guess a cold, wintery time in Louisville?

Does the DVD version have more extensive production footage? Perhaps footage from multiple sections of the plant? Parts supply areas etc?

Going to seriously consider buying the dvd! Would be pretty neat to view this on the DVD player in my truck...probably as close to the experience as I can get!

Cheers, B3

B3,

The actual factory tour footage on the DVD is about 11 minutes long. I also have some footage of the Louisville Assembly from back in 2008 that is around 15 minutes long. We did tour a few areas that year that we did not see this year.

Glad you enjoyed the preview!
