I wanted to do a tt/shackle lift on my 04 ST and put some BF Goodrich 265/75/16(32's) KO AT's on it but my step father and his dad bought me the car and said if i wanted to lift it had to be a legit kit like the $2000 superlift. well i cant afford that so i decided for now to just put some tires on it. I was wondering if 31's of the same tire would fit well with out any lift. and what the numbers for a 31 would be like ??/??/16.

Why don't you do a 3" body lift? it's "legit" and would easily clear that size of tires?

search this site with "body lift" and you'll see tons of examples.

TT/Shackles are a legit lift. And they probably wont even notice. Or do the body lift.

Clay,

Check out the PA 3" body lift. I'm getting ready to purchase this for my 04 ST.

I know it says the 01-02 but that's just because by law they are not allowed to say it works for the 03-04 years because they did the original lift on those models. the 01-05 has not changed per other folks on this site who has done them.

You don't need a lift for those tires. I had Cooper ATR 265/75/16 tires on my ST and had NO issues. If you go with the 285/75/16's then YES, you will need a lift. The TT/SL is the cheapest cost, and is very effective and will give the truck a different look.

yeah griff - lol that was in august . . . . I can't keep it that good now when it is raining and 35 degrees each weekend. I do my best though. I have fender flares to get painted and installed and I am contemplating getting the trac painted when I do that. The hood is showing signs of the spider web looking spots. All this when the weather turns warmer in the spring. It is a work in progress . . .

Thanks
