Greetings,

I just bought a '07 and the owner did not have the owner's manual. If someone would be kind enough to answer these three questions:

1) I have the model with the 6 CD MP3 player. I think it is supposed to have an AUX input for my iPod but I can't find it. It’s not on the dash, in the glove box or in the console. If I were to have a AUX input, where would it be? If I don't have one can one be installed?

2) The traction control icon just started turning on even on flat, dry roads in normal driving. Under what conditions is the traction control supposed to turn on?

3) I have a camel interior. Where can I get some good-looking seat covers?

1) If you have the aux input it will be right beside the 12v power plug on the front of the console between the two front seats. It faces forward and is a normal headphone sized jack. I would bet one could be installed, but other than the actual location you would need to see if your receiver has the input ability and wiring available.

2) The traction control disabled light should not be on unless you hit the disable button on the dash. I am not sure if it being on means that there is a system malfunction or that it is engaging for some other reason. I have never seen mine on unless I hit the disable button to leave some rubber on the road;)

3) I can't help on this one, I have the two tone dark interior and love it and am not a big fan of seat covers.

I have the manual in a PDF format as well as a quick reference guide that I can email you if you want. They are too big to fit in my library.

You can get a copy of the manual here:https://www.fleet.ford.com/maintenance/owners_manuals/default.asp

as for the seat covers check out the list under Aftermarket Parts or you can also look here: http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/templates/index/index-display.jsp?id=cat20125&navAction=jump&navCount=1&cmCat=MainCatcat21412&parentType=category&parentId=cat21412

wet okole makes some nice ones, they are expensive though, about 600 bucks. I would show you photos but my website is down right now.

slomicka,,,,,,check my library for pics of the Wet Okole seat covers,,,,as stated, they are a bit pricey, by well worth the price,,,,,,very durable, washable, and will last for years. As for the auxillary jack, you might have a gen 1 07, before the jack was placed on the console,,,,mine is the same way, but have no use for it as of now, anyway,,,,,,,,good luck with your new ST! Hope this helps, Mark
