4x4 indicator light on dash

Need some info,4x4 light on dash will not illuminate on key turn on or when vehicle is in 4x4 mode,all other lights on dash cluster work properly, just looking for some advice on next move

Bad four wheel drive module?

could also just be a bad plug where it plugs to transmission, After having my tranny replaced same thing happened to me, i was told the inside of the plug can get corroded and not work!!
