Last year there was a kid who won $50k for doing the same shot, but he did not get the money because the ticket they called out was not his, it was his brother's and his brother had gone to the restroom. The kid told them he took the shot for his brother (he was not trying to hide that fact) but they would not pay the prize money. There was a lot of negative press about them cheating the kid out of the money. Later they gave the kid something for his honesty, but nowhere near $50K, and they let his brother take the same shot a few weeks later, but he missed.
