NOT MY ST..i also have an f- 150 it was ran for years no problems but the other day a large amont of smoke came out of the fuse box and it died..the fuel pump sounds like it is not working and all the fuses are testing ok there are 6 wires running into the tank..can someome give me a hint on the best way to start checking??

Smoke came from the under dash fuse box and all fuses are good?????????



Are you sure it came from the fuse box? Could it have come from the ignition switch mounted on the side of the lower steering column? If the ignition switch went bad your fuel pump may not run........ Main hot wires to the ignition switch won't go through the under dash fuse panel.



Single tank or dual tank? V8 or I6?



The fuel pump has a 20 A fuse and a relay in the under hood power distribution box. Check the fuse, swap the relay with one of the others. The photo below is of the 95 that I had, should be the same for the 93.
