'95 Ford F150 Radio

Does anyone know if you have to have the special removal tool for the ford radio in a '95 F150 or can you use something else? If I need one, where is the best place to get the special tool at?

You will need the DIN removal tool. It cost about $5.00 at most auto places. It is a nice gadget to have.

Are you replacing a stock radio, or are you adding a new deck?

Thanks Robert. Andy, the truck belongs to a friend of mine and the radio quit playing so he wanted to remove the radio and see if there was a fuse or anything loose with the connections.

Let me know if he's looking for a stock deck at all if his radio went bad. I have a 93 F-150 that I put a CD player in and have held onto the stock radio. Should work for a 95 but not positive. Just an option for you
