Has anyone had to change out the a/c door actuator on a Sport Trac? Is it difficult or costly?

Can you give a bit more detail? I've never heard of an a/c door actuator.

That is the old "Blend door" fix required for all older explorers. My 97 Mountaineer suffered from the same problem and this saved you from a $700.00 dealer repair cost to remove the plenum and replace the crappy stock plastic door with the new nylon one. Another common problem that should have been a TSB, but wasn't.
