I replaced the rear shocks, rust converted and doubled sprayed the frame, leaf springs and cross members up to the middle of the rear axle with satin black Rust-Oleum, l changed out the evap and canister purge valves and hose clamped all of the evap system hoses. The weather is starting to turn so I've got to keep working on it. Frame came out OK.

Couple of weeks ago.
Replaced spark plugs and ignition coils.
Wish I had known ahead of time that they require a specialized spark plug socket. Other than that, easy job.
Ordered a steering wheel radio control button set, stopped working. I'll put this in when I am home again. On the road for a 3 week work trip across the east coast of Canada.
Special socket???

Maybe special wasn't the right word to use.
It's a 9/16 spark plug socket (2nd gen, 4.6l). This wasn't part of my tool collection, is now.
I've never seen a 9/16 spark plug socket before.

My ‘04 Got a semi-annual oil change but needs silicone spray do over on the rear window as it stuck in vent mode after a wash. Registration inspection indicated less than 2k miles in the past year but my college grad still hasn’t gotten past the driver permit stage.

First time starting up and driving since first week of April. Pulled front wheels off and had to take a disc to the rotors since sitting on the street since April. Rotors were bad, then I found my noise on passenger side, a leaking cheap Monroe blue shock from 2021.
Then I did my rocker panel onto the drivers side, will do other side in a couple of weeks. The other side is much worse.
Just some random pictures from today. Worst part of the job was putting the stupid plastic trim back on.

Finally finished the frame rust converter and paint job to help keep my '03 from rusting out. Finished installing front shocks and sway bar links. I may have to put in a new aluminum radiator in the Spring. I am ready for Winter in New England. Happy Halloween.

Installed a new radiator, thermostat and gasket, changed transmission fluid

Your rocker panels look great Dmiranda. Where did you source the new rockers please. I had a Gen 2.
Thanks
