53 % of the homes in my county are owned by asians, this is sillycone valley.

46 % of the homes being sold today are to offshore buyers, site unseen, to chinese internet buyers, question is WHY.

Everyone has been tripping on Mex-ifornia over the past how many years, but what they REALYY need to be tripping on is the "asian invasion".

Forget pressing #1 for Spanish or #2 for English. Worry about #3 IMHO!!!

I left Calif back in '84 because of the invasion I was seeing back then.

Anyone that knows the area of Garden Grove Blvd & Beach Blvd, knows exactly what I mean. There was even an exit sign from the GG fwy for Little Siagon.

As far as I know, that sign is still there on the 22 fwy. I seldom take that fwy though as I spend all my time in northern O.C.

We may still have the power to stop this. But saving a little money today is more important that freedoms and security tomorrow.

As long as we continue to buy anything and everything from China that we can, they will continue to invade our country and exploit it.

Kommiefornia... Votes to break away and become New China. The rest of the US parties.

Ever been to Toronto?? Half of the street signs are in Chinese..

Noticed quite a bit of this in the Etobicoke, Brampton, Mississagua areas...

Lots of Indian and Arabs areas as well....

Ever been to Toronto??

Shaun.T......I was born in Toronto, but we left back in '59 for Sunny Calif. :D

I've been back a few times in '90-91 period. We did the new Trillium Terminal system. I spent 8 months straight working that project.

Friggin Customs gave me the third degree because my passport showed that I was born there and asked a zillion questions.

Bill Barber,

Not a conundrum. It's easy to figure out. Silicon Valley still has tech jobs, not as many as they once did, but still some, and a majority of them are being snapped up by Asians, probably many on H1-B visas.

The said truth is that not only can't "Johnny read", but Johnny can't do science or engineering either.

So true TJR, thats why my last kid has busted her butt to get her masters degree

just so she as a caucasion american can compete with the offshore folks (in her country of origine)

What i find really sad is young folks are not thinking about the trades, electricians, plumbers, locksmiths, machinists.

My dad was a gunsmith, try to find one today at an affordable price.

I restore vintage clocks and watches, the pay is very good, try to find a good clock and or watchmaker (most are dead)

tech is great for sure, but when your toilet stops working, and you need a new garbage disposal, or the thermocouple in your water heater takes a dump at 7 A.M

call me, I can fix that stuff, or call your high tech H1-b visa guy, they can help for sure:cool:

but do not bitch when I charge you High tech prices.
