To all of those who feel a debt of gratitude towards the men and women who have served in our nations military and were fortunate enough to have survived.......THANK YOU.

To all of us who would like to say THANK YOU but do not quite know how to say it, please listen to the song contained within the link below and send it to those you wish to THANK.

As an active duty military person I always appreciate those who are grateful for our sacrifices. In my 15 year career I have been deployed 6 times for no less than 90 days and served in Korea for a 1 year remote. I have miseed Christmas', birthdays, anniversaries, and a birth of a child. All these sacrifices I made willingly to serve my country, and would do so again. Thanks again for caring, and yes Lasik1 I would love a raise:). Everyone have a Happy Fathers Day this weekend.

I too would like to say how much I appreciate everything that our men and women in uniform have done for me and my family. I sleep at night knowing that my family is safe because of the sacrafices all of you have made. Know that we support and honor you always. Thanks is not enough, I and my family have the deepest gratitude for what you do.

From my Great-Grandfather who served and fought in the Spanish-American War, to my Father, who was on the sands of Iwo-Jima, served time in WWII, in France, Germany and Europe,

all I can say is I was raised and taught (and BELIEVE) to respect our service men and women

who fight every minute, of every day, to keep our way of life strong and free.

A short personal story...:

When the movie Saving Private Ryan came out, my wife and I, and a few other friends went up to the Franklin Cinema, in Franklin, TN, to see it. 5 minutes into the movie, half of the audience,

mostly middle aged to older gentlemen, and their wives or significant others , were crying

and bawling out loud (myself, also). Make a long story short, almost everyone got up out of their seats and started talking to each other..."I was there...", "My daddy was there, etc..."

It was one of the most memorable moments that I think I will ever have in my life, if I live to be

a Hundred and Ten!

All of my Love and Respect to our Service Men and Women...
