I've been using a website called nutridiary.com to log in all of my caloric input and all of the workouts/activities I have each day. In two weeks, this tool has helped me eat a more balanced diet and I have lost five pounds. My goal is two pounds per week until I reach 180 lbs (estimated date to that goal is 19 Dec 06). The program caculates an estimated weight loss very accurately. The estimate was only 1/10th of a pound from my actual weight yesterday morning.
The weird thing is, I used to skip breakfast and was hungry all morning, and I didn't lose an ounce. Now I am eating a bowl of Frosted Mini-Wheats and a banana for breakfast. I haven't been hungry and I still have eaten sweets. It really doesn't even seem like a diet. I am totally amazed that this works.
One neat thing too is that it gives you credit for dialy activities you may perform during the day, such as housework, walking, painting, etc. It even allows you to log in the time you had sex and calculates a caloric value (I don't know how much it actually is, since I'm not married).
Anyway, I thought I would share this tool for anyone that would like to try it out. Good luck!
