a review on gear oils

i was looking to order some royal purple gear oil and i came across this lab test on a few gear oils and royal purple wasn't on the top. tell me what u guys think.

I used M1 in the 04 adren and Rp in my 03.... The RP was thinner and just seemed not to have the same viscosity....



I think i will stick to M1,,,

I'm using rp in my diff now, seems I'll be changing to AMSOIL in the spring.

I ran M1 in my stang with 3;73 gears and motorsport traction-lok. Cant complain. Ran it hard and on inspection drainings, all was always good. Never had a bearing failure either.
