I figured I'd take care of two off-topic posts at once.

Bad news baby-

I saw the old "Doughmobile" today (My 01 ST that I traded in for my Frontier). I saw it in the Home Depot parking lot. I must admit that it was a little hard to see it and I miss it somewhat. It was the perfect vehicle for me... but unfortunately I had one of the few that had recurring problems that Ford couldn't fix.

Good news baby-

My wife and I just found out that we are going to have a baby. We had been trying for many years and had pretty much accepted the fact that it wasn’t meant to be. I'm 40 years old and will be 59 when the baby graduates from High School... proof positive that God has a sense of humor.

I know the feeling on the truck...

CONGRATS and best of health to the new baby...

I was 44 years old on my son's last birthday, when he turned 4. I will (hopefully) be 58 when he graduates from high school. My wife is 8-9 years younger than I am, so it's not quite so hard on her, although she was 32 when he was born. We've managed so far since I can still outrun him, but I wonder how it will be when he gets it all together and really takes off!

Congrats! I am 45 with two sons, 2yo and 6 mo. old- my neighbor is 58 w/ a 3 year old. The boys keep me young (and working hard). Check out prepaid college plans...

My uncle did the prepaid college thing, and tells me they stopped it in Texas. Apparently they will still allow you to put money in an account to pay for college, but that money will have to be used to buy hours of college at whatever the rate is when you actually attend. They used to allow you to buy hours at the current rate, to be redeemed much, much later. It really helped him out. He has been buying hours of college time for years, so the recent tuition increaases haven't bothered him at all.
