Hi, I want to clean the ABS sensors on my ST01. I am having the ABs kicking in a low speeds.

Where are they located? A picture would be great.

Thanks

Ron

don't know about the rear, but if you pull the front rotor, you can see it. It is item one (middle image) in Caymen's post in the below link.

No need to clean the sensors. They are Hall effect type.

Check for a loose front wheel bearing or monitor PIDS with a scan tool to determine which one is triggering unwaranted ABS activation.

Yup, it sounds like you have bad or week sensor, OR some one did the brakes and bent the thing...

I have seen where someone has done a brake job and a flake of metal got stuck to the sensor as it is a magnetic pickup.

So as far a the cleaning goes, if you can see something there then yes, it needs cleaned off. But other than that, cleaning really does nothing for the sensors...
