I have a stock trac that I am ready to upgrade. I thought i would start with the exhaust and intake. Are these products a good start for me?

Cold Air Intake, MAF upgrade, and Magnaflow performance exhaust

Thanks in advance!

- intake

- exhaust

Level II

- throttle body

- MAF

- y-pipe

- high flow cat

- xcal2

That should empty your wallet . . .:lol::lol:

Start from the ground up with -

upgraded front End Links by MOOG from AutoZone or CarQuest for about $30

new shocks (do a site search) about $150 - $200 depending and you can do them yourself

and a Explorer Express or Zabteck rear sway bar under $200

Then go with a CAI, Throttle Body (from Zabteck) and exhaust. Then get, and this is a must, a SCT SCalibrator 2 with the performance tunes of your choice. Search the projects, also.

I was the happiest with the exhaust........magnaflow cat back system on 07 V8. If I had to do it all over again...........exhaust would be #1, no question about it.

I agree with Roger and SST, do the handling first. Then worry about the go faster thing._Ron

Another vote for new shocks as the first item. After that, drive and consider if you need a swaybar (I didn't...the shocks alone made a HUGE difference).
