I read in another post that someone was thinking about a v8 swap. Too much hassel for me. However I was wondering if they make "performance" heads, cams, pistons, etc and where to find them for the 4.0 v6. I am thinking about building up a 4.0 to put in the trac. Does anybody know where to find the stuff(if they even make it)?

If im not mistaken we have the same engine that is in the new v6 msutangs. Someone correct me if im wrong. I think that internal parts for that model mustang would work. Now the accesories i think are mounted differently so i dont think underdrive pulles would work but you can get them for the trac anyway.

For those head prices you can find a machine shop to modify a oem set cheeper.... Look around by you locally...
