I have a MP3/HD Radio/CD player I had installed in the 1999 Ranger. I would like to put it in the new ST, but am afraid of losing my rear seat audio. I read in the projects section it's possible, but there was WAY too much going on in the writeup for me to comprehend.

Is there a special wiring harness? I already have a Ford Ranger harness soldered onto the stereo now. Do I need any special pieces? Will I lose any features from the back seat?

I know it was discussed.... Have you tried Crutchfield for an adapter ??

They make a wiring harness, but they said nothing that will retain factory rear controls.

I see the write up on it, but I have no idea what the "Interface" and "Module" are. There is not anything telling someone who knows nothing about the audio systems what it is or where to find it/them.

I tried searching, i found some things about special radios,

Try searching the archives and stuff...

I searched "rear radio" on the match all setting..
