bout to buy 2 JL Audio 10w1v2, the '07 series, and im curious, whats the differences or pros and cons, determining, which ohm on the sub i should buy? i only found two different kinds and, one is 4 ohm and the other is 8 ohm. going to be throwing one sub into the stock oem adrenalin box and the other into a probox. And will be running a PPI PCX 2125 amp.

this is the spec's on the amp

125W x 2 at 4 Ohms Stereo

250W x 2 at 2 Ohms Stereo

500W x 1 at 4 Ohms Bridged Mono

i know i can get a bigger sub into the probox, but being my depth on my adrenalin box is lesser, then it would make more sense to get 2 subs that are the same. kinda hard to shop, when the depth for the probox is 5.75 and the oem box is 4.25... could always get a space plate for the boxes, but both boxes are down firing and there isnt that much room to pull something like that off..

Another question have, is for the probox, for those who have them. i put the probox into my 04 adrenalin and noticed that it doesnt go under the seat unless i remove the bolt holding the seat to the bracket to the floor. and once i push the box in, i cant put the bolt back in.... any others had this problem? i have the plastic floor and not carpet. so i dont know. thanks though

With that amp you want 2 8 ohm so that you can wire them bridged to the amp for a final load of 4 ohms, mono to get 500 watts.
