You wind up with a lot of currency to exchange. Coronas from both the Czech and Slovak Republics, Forints from Hungary (Magyar) and Euros from Austria. I was able to spend $40 in Bratislava, so I put some green backs in the photo. I forgot the Polish Zlotys, but I didn't think about it, since I use them every day.

Actually, counting the Euros, I think there is around $350 in my stack of currencies. I need to change everything except the Euros and dollars. I'll use the Euros next week in Germany. :)

I was in Europe when the Euro was introduced. I was very glad they did;). Now it is hurting the dollar but back then it was the opposite. One of my professors gambled and invested a lot in the euro. I'm sure he's smiling now.

this sunday I go to Hungary with my ST

1000 Miles from my home in Belgium to my vacationhome in Hungary mostly on the German Autobahn

I love the ST in Hungary but on the German Autobahn 100miles/h is to slow;)

Cool. Honk if you drive through Poland.

I'll be on the autobahn next week and will check to see if the Mazda3 can really do 135 mph, as advertised.

Oh man, that urine-water is over there, too? jk.

Nelson!!! If you have Polish currency, hang onto $5 U.S. for me. When you get back, I'll send you the cash for it. I know someone who really, really would want it.

Me too. The guy that owns the shop next to me is Polish and is very proud of his heritage. I'd gladly send you $5 for the same deal.

Guys,

Send me an email with your home addresses, and I'll try to mail them to you. I have a very short time in the US with a lot to do. I'm just going back to see my mom on her 65th birthday, pick up my daughter in KY and drive to OKC to see my house (if it is still standing with all the tornadoes). I can't promise, but if I drop the letter in the mail, then I will send you my home APO address so you can mail the $5.

If you do some digging, I wouldn't be surprised if you have yet another type of currency in your possession...
