air bag light

I have an 07 XLT, intermittently, my air bag light comes on. Turn truck off and back on, it goes away. Any ideas? John

I think it has something to do with a sensor in the seat that determines weight in the seat as to whether the airbag is armed?? I notice it if I have my lunchbag in the seat. That manual should give you the answers. I may be wrong...

You might want to take it back to the dealer sooner then later. Don't want to be going down the road and the bag go off. You're not a celebrity, are you:lol:. defintetly get it checked out.

If the light is not blinking a code, you need to have a shop or the dealer scan the code and let you know what is wrong..
