Another computer question

This keeps popping up on my PC. It keeps me from being able to do things like emptying my yahoo bulk email, downloading something from java.com etc.. Can anyone tell me what it is and how I might fix whatever's causing it?

In fact, it just popped up again when I was trying to select the picture. :angry:

Go to your internet options page, advanced tab, browsing menu, take the checkmark out of " display a notification about every script error " click ok..

Try clearing out the Java Cache. Start>Control Panel>Java>Delete Files

Man, I'm going to chain this PC to the back of the ST and go 4 wheeling! I looked for java in the things in the control panel and can't find it. I'm going to bed. Thanks.

Fred, on the left side of the control panel window it says "switch to classic view" click this and you should be able to find the Java File. Double click it and you will see where to clear your temp files.

Thanks Brian. I did that and found 2 java 'things'. I did the "Clear JAR Cache" in both. Should I have 2 java 'things'?

And guess what? "It" came back when I was selecting this picture. :wacko:

Try un-checking Disable Script Debugging(Other) also, or switch to Firefox

just a question. how come everyone is always so quick to blame microsoft IE? i have used IE for years now and have never had any problems. none of the others are any better or worse. as for the computer question does the problme only occur with pictures?

Maybe because of all the security leaks MS has had with IE over the years?

When I get home I'll try un-checking Disable Script Debugging(Other), and no, the problem doesn't only occur with pictures.
