Another Jeep question - Anyone know?

Sorry another Jeep question for those who know.

I wish there was a mywrangler website. I love this website and the help everyone provides.

My research shows that the largest tire I can put on a stock 1997 wrangler is a 31x10.5x15

I would like to put a 285/60r18 package that I have on my ST

The tire calculator shows that the dimensions are real close.

Anyone have any idea on whether or not the 285/60r18 would fit a stock wrangler tj?

Also, for an easy to use tire size/diameter calculator, go to 1010tires.com and click on the "tire size calculator" (bottom left) for an easy-to-use tool. Plug in a tire size and get all sorts of info.

I have a 2000 wrangler with 31" tires and when I try to make a sharp they rub, so be careful what you get. Sales guy told me they would be ok, f'er. Didn't feel like messin with them after that, was gonna get a lift but just haven't around to it yet.
